And yea, you were really annoying cos you used to complain everything to mum. Hahahaha. But then, those were the bitter sweet childhood memories. Now that youre all grown up, behave and act like one okay. No more small Yaya. Your sister here always scold and nag at you for reasons. I wish you all the best in life. With one of my supportive facilitators; Selina Kassim. Though she’s very naggy and sarcastic most of the time, she has equipped the class well with her knowledge. She picked on me at times, but that didnt stop me from learning. The best part having her as a Medical Technology Faci, she’d give all of the hints in the world for exams. “How do i know if you paid attention in class? By looking at your answers in UTs.” Well, i enjoyed myself in her class despite the fact that i have to deal with her sarcasm! How can i not remember you? The one that always encouraged me to do well in studies, guided me through the times when i was struggling for my Os. It seemed just like yesterday that we sat down and mugged together till the wee hour over at your place, and how you would secretly do the sweetest things for me; having food delivered on the doorstep, randomly booked movie tickets for us and dialed up for mr taxi to fetch me home in the middle of the night. How amazing that you’d always get your spot on Speech Day every year for your academic achievement though you always worried that you didnt do well enough to deserve that placing. We’d always have our birthday celebrations together and exchange gifts. Right now, i just hope that everything is just a nightmare. Vanessa Toh Chu Lynn, a true humble person with a big heart. I know you’re in a better place right now. May God bless your soul. Rest in Peace, Dear Friend. 2nd November 1991- 4th May 2012.
